Koorlongka Quarter Ponies

We are very excited to be a founding member of the Australian Quarter pony Association this breed has been excitedly welcomed into the Australian horse culture the Association has gone from strength to strength and the enthusiasm for the breed sets it up for a very bright future.

In the search for the perfect pony for children we have decided to breed Quarter ponies as part of our breeding program. This versatile breed bred down from the much loved Australian Quarter Horse is chosen for it's cool temperament and agility.

Many children love the challenges of barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying and many other sporting and cutting events.

Through the breeding of Quarter Ponies we can add to our stud,  ponies which are bred from stock that are famous for excelling in these disciplines with the right temperament and at the right height.

The Quarter Pony breed has been recognised in America since 1964 and is quickly becoming a popular breed in Australia.
